New York based Richard “Rico” Ruiz has had a long and diverse career in the fashion industry. After attending and graduating from both the NY and Paris Parson’s school of design, he was sought out to create custom looks for several artists in the music industry. Upon completion of Celine Dion’s album packaging and premier relaunch album videos “A new day” Rico was invited to join Dion’s world press tour, traveling with her as both tailor and creator of custom looks for all press and appearances. In addition, he designed and oversaw production for all of the dancers costumes in her Las Vegas Residency. While continuing his work with a range of celebrity clients, in 2006 Rico launched his eponymous womenswear label selling to accounts worldwide, including Harrods, Calypso and Henri Bendel, to name a few. Today, Rico continues to work as both a tailor and stylist. Past and current clients: Beyonce, Mary J.
